Quilt Show

I have been living vicariously through Gina at Quilter’s Buzz.

I am so jealous of the whole Houston Quilt Show experience. I have never had much of a desire to go, having been to the Dallas quilt show (with a couple kids in tow) it just always seemed like too much work to view other peoples quilts.

But the fabric is what gets me. I want to see the fabric. That is the difference between the Houston show vs. regular quilt shows. I imagine that I would be so overwhelmed that I would just have to stand and stare. When she described the samples, oh man my fingers were itching to touch it. Sigh.

New stuff from Amy

New colorway from Denyse

and a new line from Anna Maria

Mark the calendar I am going next year!

Sign me up for the newsletter! I agree it is fun to see all that fabulous fabric…but it is even better to see what you can do with it in all of your creations! Happy crafting. Gina

Having been at the Houston show twice, it is well worth getting in condition for the event. It’s so exciting and hectic and full of inspiration and impossibly beautiful quilts. I’ll meet you (and Kathy) there any time you can come, and I’ll bring the Grandad babysitter.
