Guess what we got????
Finally!
After a crazy weekend, kicking off with the not so great birthday. The next day Cole ran into the corner of the tailgate on our basement guys truck. Blood started gushing out of his forehead. One of my good friends is a doctor and lives a few doors down. She determined it could use a stitch but probably not worth putting him through the ordeal. So we let it scab up and he was fine.
Sunday we woke up to some snow. We were all thrilled.
Once the boys had their fun in the yard they started yelling for Mad River .
So we left the sewing machine and video games and spent the day in the snow. It was so much fun and exactly what we needed.
Now it is back to school and the routine.

Hooray for your snow! Grace and I were looking at pictures from our last big snow, back in Feb ‘04 (before Alex was born). Our snow we got last week was actually little round ice pellets that were maybe 1/2″ deep.
Of course, I’m cursing your snow for the fact that Jim is in Cleveland this week and I’m hoping he can make it back home on Friday! Please don’t keep my husband in Ohio!!!
