My 3 year old has a girlfriend

and her name is Lucy.  He likes to talk about her ALL THE TIME.  Lucy is actually his 14 year old babysitter.  But the age difference doesn’t seem to phase him and he tells everyone he knows all about her.  At first it was cute, but now it is starting to get a little old.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Lucy too but there are other things to talk about.  Yesterday we were driving in the car and a slow song came on and he said, “this is a sad song.  This is a song all about Lucy leaving and never coming back”.  I didn’t really hear that in the song but I wasn’t going to argue with him.  And no, Lucy isn’t gone- she lives a few doors down.  He sees her when she walks by our house on her way home from school, he sees her when she babysits, he sees her at church, he sees ALL THE TIME.  Lucy has a little sister named Scarlett that is actually only 6 months older than Cole.  She is his 2nd girlfriend.  He plans to invite them both to his birthday party this summer.

In other news I was flipping through the March CK magazine this morning while the boys were eating their breakfast.  I don’t get a chance to look through this magazine that much anymore so I went straight to the Ali Edwards article and was happy to see a layout of her with one my bags over her shoulder.  Not a big glimpse but it was there- love that.  Ali has ordered a couple bags so I knew that she had them, it’s just fun to see them in print.

I haven’t scrapbooked in well over a year.  Running a business is so very time consuming that if I have time to do laundry I am lucky.  When our computer crashed recently we learned a big lesson in backing up photos- do it!  Fortunately Andy was able to retrieve them for me.  Big sigh of relief.  Someday I will start printing them out and getting them in books.  Some day.
