Mini QandA

I get a lot of email and I try to answer each and every one but if for some reason you emailed and asked me a question and I didn’t answer maybe you will find your answer here. These are questions I get a lot.

The first is for stores. I get a ton of emails from stores asking to carry my bags. I have gone back and forth with this idea and for now I am sticking to my “no wholesale” policy. The main reason at this point is to maintain my sanity. Just kidding, well, no I’m not. We do a shocking amount of business for a small company and the reality is, I just don’t want/need to do wholesale. I have no overwhelming desire to see my bags in stores. So for now this is the only place you will find them, or from a local consultant. If you want to know if there is a consultant in your area, email me.

The other question I get often is whether I can add things to bags, extra pockets, handles, etc. If you work through a consultant, bags can sometimes be altered (within reason for an added fee) but for the most part, what you see is what you get. Please don’t order a bag and tell me that you want this and this added. I am brainstorming ideas on how bags can be more customized but for now- they are as is.

I am going to be expanding the ready-made bag section and will hopefully have more bags up there soon. Here are some lunch totes that were added today.

As some of you may have noticed the Bailey Bag is up and ready to buy. I know I said there would be a newsletter but my husband handles that part and sometimes I get the impression that the other website he helps run is more important than this one. Hmmm…..

We have retired the Lily bag and the Lily2 bag, I think there may be a couple left in the ready-made section but that’s it. Once they are gone they are gone.

Our fabric is ever changing. If you see something you really like, get it now because I can’t guarantee we will have it next week. Sometimes we can order more, but most of the time it is one run only. Sometimes old fabric may pop up in the read-made section. Usually we have a little extra hanging around the studio and it will ultimately end up on a ready-made bag.

That is all for now-
