Busy Week

Wow, this week was nuts.  For those of you that are tired of looking at my messy house better stop here.  My contractor knows how to keep things moving.  Check this out, I now have a two story addition

The concrete slab was poured for the screened porch.  All the big openings are french doors, including the one on the top (which will walk out onto a balcony over the screened porch).

There is another window to the left of the ladder upstairs- it has plywood over if for now.

Blake’s old room is now going to be our master bath, it was gutted this week.

The view from the master- one day I will have a nice yard again…

The boys- who are being good sports about living in a house with no kitchen and no a/c.

We have a motto around here these days, “it will all be worth it, right??”

So halfway (or more like a third of the way) through this process my biggest advice would be to find a contractor that you like and trust- also a sense of humor is mandatory in this kind of situation.  Life’s too short to not work with fun people.

Okay, this is REALLY exciting. These pictures are great – makes me feel like I am right there. With all those trees you will have a fabulous view out the back.

Looks great, “except maybe the mud” and the boys are still smiling. You’re going to have great pictures when this is all over and you can look back on what it took to get your wonderful new house.
