Change of Plans

You never know when Spring is going to show up in this part of the country.  In fact it usually tries to show up a couple times before it is ready to stay.  When the weather got warm today the older boys ditched the idea of going skating and took off on their bikes and Cole and I decided to clean the porch.
But first, for the Grandparents- Blake’s last basketball game of the year.

His coach lifted each kid up so they could do a slam dunk.  I was hoping that he wouldn’t strain his back when he lifted Blake

Our porch cleaning quickly turned into a game of porch hockey

He said, “I am Rick Nash, he shoots, he scores!”  Followed by a little dance that I have never seen Rick do but would be kinda funny.

Lately Cole has been into holding up fingers- usually it’s only one, and it’s in the middle- so this is a nice change.

He has no idea what it means, only that it gets a good reaction from his older brothers.

Then he decided that he needed to put on his Blue Jackets jersey so we took the game to the upstairs porch.

After our game (he was Rick Nash, I was Jared Boll)  he grabbed my little point and shoot and we took pictures of each other
