I miss my dogs

and my bed.

Yesterday we took the kids to the Texas State Aquarium

silly looking gang

saw some cool stuff

it took a million shots just to get one decent jellyfish picture.  They are so cool.

Today is the last beach day for my group- we are heading out early to show the boys San Antonio, the river walk and the Alamo.  Then up to Austin for the day and then back home.  Where Shiloh will be so excited to see us she will follow us around and nibble on our knee-caps like she always does when we come home, and Zoey will wiggle and pee all over the floor.

Who watches your fur babies while you are away?
Leaving ours is the one reason I always hesitate vacations! 🙂

Our dogs stay home, we have WONDERFUL neighbors.

Kitty Jo (who lives next door)

takes came of them for us and then one of Austin’s buddies checks in to play.

We used to take them to the farm, they love that too. But Zoey is a house dog even though she loves to be outside- and I prefer for them to sleep inside instead of out- which is what they have to do at the farm.

I too stress about leaving them, and I have trouble relaxing the first day or two. But we check in, and they do fine. They are lucky to have each other.

Great pics, that first jellyfish? is scarey looking. LOL I bet it was fun. I’ve told DH several times that I want to go to San Antonio, it looks like a great city and it’s only about 9 hrs. from us. Maybe one day and not in the summer. Is it really hot and humid there? I know it is here in Louisiana, I’m an hour north of New Orleans. Oh and I’d miss my furbaby’s too.
