Yeah I thought so

Last night we had a rare opportunity.  Cole was invited to go see a movie with his buddy Nate, and at the last minute Blake decided to tag along.  So when Austin got home from his friends house, the three of us looked at each other and said, “hey!  a peaceful dinner out!”  We jumped in the car and hit Bravo for some yummy food.

We really thought Austin would enjoy his evening out with just us, afterall- I am not sure he has had a night out alone with BOTH parents.  Plus he has been known to say that his brothers drive him nuts and ponders what life would be like as an only child.

But halfway through dinner he admitted that he missed Blake (no mention of Cole).  And this morning he admitted that dinner out with just me and dad was a little boring.  Hmmm.  I thought he may secretly like his brothers.

In other news, I finally broke down and bought the desk from Pottery barn that I have been craving for the past year.

I got it in black.  When it is all set up I will take a picture.  The Container store desk that I bought a while back got moved upstairs to the computer nook- I will take a picture of that soon too.  Feels good to finally start getting the house put back together.

Off to watch Austin’s first football game.
