I’m sure a lot of you already know

about this family.

Sometimes I wonder how people survived without the internet.  It is absolutely amazing the love and prayers that pour in from total strangers in times of need.   Remember the James Kim tragedy?  I still think about that sometimes and wonder how that family is doing.

Yesterday I saw some of Stephanies family on the today show and was so warmed how her sisters (I think there are 7 or 8!) all stepped in to help with her young kids and maintained such an upbeat attitude.  They even get all the kids/cousins together for dinner every night.  You can see the interview here. It is worth watching.

Her sister has a blog to keep people updated.  I must say that I have often felt jealous of mormons and their large families.  I guess that explains why I am happiest when my house is full of kiddos and dogs.  The more ruckus the better.

Sometimes when I feel like I am going crazy and everyone is yelling my name or yelling at each other and the dogs are barking and someone can’t find their soccer ball or football helmet and we were supposed to be out the door 10 minutes ago, I stop and laugh.  Because parenting is all about humor, if you can’t laugh you will make yourself crazy. Really.

But the real reason I laugh because all those noises make me happy and remind me that my house is full of life.  And life is loud and crazy and unpredictable, and sometimes very frustrating.

But mostly it is very very good.
