Change of Plans

The plan was to spend the day packing so we could head to the farm when the boys got home from school and Andy got home from work.  Unfortunately middle of the night found this guy with a raging fever

so he is settled on the couch with a big cup of oj and a bowl of homemade banana bread that I made for him this morning.

oh and a friend who is just so tired because she has such a rough life

So I am going to spend some time filling up my new bookshelves in the study

see that blur on the bottom left- that’s a dog running by.  It is almost impossible to take a picture in this house without a dog or kid getting in it somehow

Light some candles
and maybe get out a few more Christmas decorations

Watch the snow fall
and of course take care of my little sickie.

About 6 months ago or maybe a little longer, I switched from a Canon Digital Rebel to a Canon 40D. I still use the rebel when I go on trips to the beach and such where I don’t want to take my new camera. They are both great cameras.

Hi – just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bag I ordered from you back in August. It’s a messenger bag and it’s great b/c my youngest child is still in diapers (hopefully not for much longer). I’ve gotten many compliments on it and love that I can carry it over my shoulder.

Anyway, I enjoy reading your blog. I also have 3 children (Owen 7, Kate 5 and Chase 2) and was an art major….worked in advertising for 5 years after college but now stay home for the most part. My mom and I also have been making wedding cakes for 5 years and I do some crafting (frames and barrettes) on the side too.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
