70 degrees in December

means I throw open all the windows and pretend it is Spring. I am one of those people that gets the Christmas stuff up early but takes it down the day after Christmas. Well except the lights, I like the lights.

Eyeing the cookie

You gonna eat that cookie?

Anyway, I am trying to wade through the mess of Lego boxes (yes, MORE Legos) to try to get some things back to normal around here.

Even though we said “no gifts for each other” Andy surprised me with one (and no it wasn’t underwear)

It was a new wide angle lens. Check it out, but please ignore my messy pre-holiday cooking kitchen.

isn’t it funny how you’ll get those ‘springy’ days out of the blue–its almost like a holiday in itself.

    But that’s work, darn it!!

    cool lens. I love it.

We use a fake tree and my only rule is it has to come down by Emma’s birthday (so her friends won’t think we are as lazy as we are!) Jan. 24. What I hate to take down are the Christmas Cards. I have them up and give prime exposure to anyone who includes a photo of their kids. I have all these smiling faces on the wall and I love it–especially all my nephews and my niece.
