We keep him a box

We keep him in a box

It’s just easier that way 🙂

Shiloh

We have had such nice weather and today it is rainy. I am actually happy about it. Love these crossed paws- I just love this weird dog.

Shiloh

Every now and then I love a good rainy day. An indoor day. The bad part is that I scrubbed all the hardwood floors yesterday and rain means muddy dog paws and lacrosse practice is going to be messy. It’s like when you wash your car….

Towels are stacked up by the back door in preparation of all the paw wiping I will be doing today. But the other great thing is that it is Wednesday and that means no rec center classes for Cole so no gym for me. Yay, I’m still sore from getting back into my routine after being sick and having sick kids.

Our playset is half finished, and for those that want to know- it is a Rainbow system and we bought it at Costco. Really great price there for a decent playset.

After looking at my pictures lately you would think that I have only one kid and one dog 🙂 They are the only ones that will cooperate when the camera comes out.

Austin and his fave dance partner

But since I do have other kiddos- here is a story about the oldest. Yesterday after school we went to get him new cleats for lacrosse. On the way home we get a phone call from my cousin. Her daughter is Austin’s age and goes to a different elementary school. One of her good friends is the girl that Austin liked from Cotillion.

So this girl wanted Austin to come to see her in a play last night. I let him skip lax practice and he and I went to watch her. It was cute, she was good. They could barely speak to each other after, their faces blushing bright red. I saw her older brother who was home from the navy come up and grab her and swing her around and said, “which one is he?” as he messed with her hair. So cute. Her dad wanted to meet Austin, since apparently he had heard a lot about him. My cousin and I tried to keep straight faces. In the end they maybe said two words to each other and then exchanged email addresses since they don’t go to the same school.

Crazy.

And since I don’t want to leave out the forgotten middle child, he has been doing a lot of this
