Happy Birthday Cole- Boom Boom Pow!

I found him in my tub last night

Look at that water! Mess.

Last night we had our first (of two) Post placement visits that are required for the finalization of our adoption. We have the nicest social worker and all went well. I didn’t freak out about getting the house crazy clean, and I even left on the clothes that I exercised in. I figured that she should see real life.

Yesterday Eva and I took a long walk down on the trail. She slept the whole 2 hours. It was nice. I got to clear my head, plan the rest of the week, think about what to pack for the beach.

I must admit that it is hard to just walk and I am looking forward to Eva getting big enough to ride in her bright orange Easy Walker. Not that I want to run, just a reminder of what happens when I run. So even though I can’t run, I can skate. Although now that I think about it, my rollerblades are about 5 years older than my oldest kid. Yikes!

And if you need some good get up and move music to make you- well, get up and move, Here is one of my current faves

Although I don’t recommend busting into your Fergie moves with a stroller.

Tomorrow I will post about my fave bag. Because I do have a fave!

I can’t wait for you to tell me your favorite bag. Remember that I don’t want a little one. I am glad that you got to walk and clear your head. We all need that sometimes and with you being a new mom, you really need it. Look forward to tomorrow.

I just love reading about you and your family, and seeing pictures too 🙂 And, congrats on your new baby girl. She is absolutely precious!

Jim thinks I should strap on the roller blades when walking Lucy. Oh lord, she’ll probably take off like a rocket with me hanging on for dear life behind. And my wheels will probably fall off the roller blades, which I’m sure are about the same age as yours!
