This officially feels like the longest winter ever.  Usually we get some warm ups here and there but not this year.  Cold, snow, and overcast skies.  We are all starting to feel the effect.  I get in this funk at this time every winter- when I start telling Andy to find a job down south.

IMG_5617 I know Spring is around the corner (maybe) but all of these days on end of being inside is starting to wear a few of us down.

IMG_5618 Not her of course.  Her teeth are wearing her down.  She isn’t sleeping well at all.  It’s been a tough week for her.

IMG_5621 Someone needs to remind me why we don’t live in Florida, Cole tells me on a regular basis that he wants to live somewhere where he can have a lemon tree in his backyard so he can make lemonade whenever he wants

IMG_5624 Blake, like me is getting the winter blahs.  We need some sun.  Outside warm air.

IMG_5630 I love this wagon, Austin used to push Blake in this wagon when he was Eva’s age.

IMG_5634 Only three more days until this dreadful month is over.  And then another month until Spring Break.  It can’t get here fast enough.

I am your reminder of why you shouldn’t move from florida! I just moved from there last year. while it is a great vacation destination it is HOT HOT HOT in the summer. it is miserable (from about late may-october). we used to have to walk our dogs by 9 a.m. otherwise it was too tortuous to go outside. you’d miss the seasons, too. maybe not the long winter but once spring gets here it will be all worth it 🙂

Gotta agree w/ Tracey…Florida is nice to visit, but wouldn’t want to live there full time!!! Not ideal temps here today but at least the sun is trying to shine thru. I always figure, just get me to March, then we start having some nicer days periodically. And you just can’t beat Spring and Fall here! I hear ya, I’m feeling the effects of this crappy, snowy winter too….but we’re almost done…A girl can dream can’t she?

I am so with you! About this time of year, when we have been sitting under gray skies and RAIN for months, I long for sunshine. Just to be able to throw open the blinds to sunny days and birds chirping. Someday….soon….I hope! 🙂

The weather forecast for there changed since yesterday and it looks like snow when we are supposed to be bringing Texas sunshine next weekend. Maybe we can will more sun between now and then. We have a little to spare from here now. Just a little…

I must agree with Tracey. We lived in Florida the first three years of our marriage. The summer heat was just awful! It was a bit like being cooped up in the winter here, you stay inside with the air on! I LOVE the seasons changing and missed that so much when we were in Fl. Here in Michigan spring is glorious! And fall is wonderful. I am not a real winter person, but inside looking out at the falling snow is nice for a while, then I look forward to spring. March is almost here and then spring is just around the corner! Love Eva’s little shoes! Cute. She is just about the sweetest little bundle around!!

Even though the weather in San Diego is nice all the time, it’s nice ALL THE TIME! I want my seasons. I get excited when it rains here, but I still miss my snow. Hopefully you will get a break soon. We keep hearing about how this winters weather is abnormal across the US.

google: Naples, Florida. DO it now. I tell John at least 6 times a week that that is where we need to move. That’s where I want to live. He’s all game…but there’s this little thing called our life that is here. I’m not sure why we didn’t think of it before we had kids, a business, a home…sheesh. Someday. I hope. I’m in the same late winter funk…

This Florida girl is struggling with this weather too. I feel like I haven’t seen the sun in forever. I really want the sun to shine, the weather to get warmer, and for me to be able to wear my flip flops again. I haven’t worn them since I moved up here in November.
