Another 70 degree day, don’t hate.
Took the kids to Barton Springs to run around and ride the Zilker Park train.
Dogs were swimming, moms and kids were in canoes, the boys took off their shoes and put their toes in the cold spring water.
Those of you commenting about Max, yes we call him and Blake the twins. Andy’s sisters kids are like mine- first one has brown hair (hers is a girl), 2nd one is dark, third is blonde. The first two are almost the same age and the thirds are about a year apart.

So far this trip we have seen andys parents in ft worth, my brother, sil and nieces in Houston, andys sister and bil and three cousins in Austin, andys godparents, had dinner with a friend I haven’t seen in 15 years.
Today we head back to dfw to andys parents and we will see grandma Lu (kids great gramma)
Tomorrow we head home!
It has been a crazy non-stop trip.
No, we are not on spring break, I pulled the kids outta school.
I am a big believer that life lessons, travel, and seeing family is just as important as formal education. I am aware that not all agree
I have taken real pics, will load them up soon, for now more iPhone

Andy’s other godmother, A’Nelle, plans to drop by this afternoon. Nothing like a week of non-stop family. We may slash your tires to get you to stay longer… (ok, not really)…(but we may be thinking of something else, so watch out!).

I am with you on life lessons/travel/family….we should all do it more, if we can:)
    glad you’re enjoying your trip.

no judgement here. I pulled my 2 out of school for a week to take a trip to Arizona to see family. We are in IA, it was cold here and so warm out there.

Totally agree on the travel/life lessons. There is so much to be said for family ties and making those bonds! You have some lucky kids!

I love Zilker Park. Did Miss Eva get her toes wet too? Your vacation looks like it has been a nice one!

I am all for the life lessons, travel and seeing family…good for you all!

I totally agree on the life’s lessons. I was a mediocre college student, but traveled a ton and did a lot of speeches etc. with my college’s student government (I went to Tarleton, so we did a lot of traveling down to A&M and the other A&M system schools–probably can’t say that on your blog though! Haha). My communication skills and experience talking to lots of people landed me a much better job than my grades ever could have. Plus, you must enjoy family when you can. It’s what matters in life. Enjoy Texas! We’d love to have you here in DFW!

I whole heartedly agree with you! What a wonderful gift you have given your children and family.

I agree that your tires should be slashed so you have to stay in TX.
