Beach

I am having trouble getting any of my pictures to load, I can’t figure out if it is my laptop or my card reader.  Not to mention I have to fight to get any time with the one laptop we brought.

But moving on- I love it here.  Love love love.

The area where we are staying is full of families and I think most of the residents around us live here full time.  Which makes a huge difference.  It is quiet, except for the neighbors dog barking- but we are used to that.  We have a private beach area that is perfect.  There are two pools- one huge one at the beach club where there is a place to eat and hang out.  Eva loves that one, it is perfect for little kids with built-in turtles to climb on.  Yesterday she found a Grampa sitting in the water with his Grandson and crawled right over and climbed on his lap.  He loved it.  I just have nothing but great things to say about this place.  I am working on Andy to figure a way to work here.  There has to be something, right?

Anyway- I tried to snap a few pics of the place we are staying, didn’t get many good ones and half of them wouldn’t upload.

Lets start with the view

See that red beach tent?  That’s us

I love all areas around here but South Fort Walton seems to be the most private.

IMG_7096 IMG_7095 One of the things I like the most about this area is the architecture.  Exactly my style.  Exactly.

I love the details of this place

IMG_7094 IMG_7102 IMG_7101 IMG_7106This is the porch off the master suite- it has a gate that leads to a path that goes to the beach or pool

IMG_7105 Lots of walking trails everywhere

IMG_7116 I LOVE the wide plank knotty pine floors (below) you can’t tell in this picture but they look so good, perfectly worn.

IMG_7113 I have so many more pics, tonight when I don’t have a boy breathing down my neck I will try to get more to upload

I, too, need some more details about that place! I’m going to google South Fort Walton and see what i can find out. Being a west coast girl, I am so unfamiliar with the eastern states/beaches. Are you in Flordia?
