It was a crazy one around here. Not really.
Spent the early evening picking up the backyard from having people over the night before.
Blake had to mow
The girl was bathed and in her pj’s but wanted to swing one more time before bed
These little bee pj’s used to belong to Blake. They even have his initials on the inside from a trip we took down south. The shirt that matched is long gone.
The house was looking quiet, last night there was a 6th grade pow-wow on the roof deck under the umbrella, in the rain. You had to know the password to get in.
While all of the little kids were made to play downstairs and the adults sat on the porch.
Lots of these in our yard
I wish I got a picture of Cole and his new Kindergarten friend. She is not in his class (he is morning, I think she is afternoon) but they were stuck together all night.
But I didn’t take any pictures at all. Of course.
This little boy is growing waaayyy to fast
Lately I feel like I need to soak up every moment of it, afterall- in 7 more weeks he will no longer be a kindergartener!
Oh and if you can’t tell, doesn’t want me to take his picture anymore, one more please? I always beg.
So we go back to the girl, who still doesn’t mind the pictures
And while some of these look like she is scared, she loves it. Trust me.
This was the perfect Saturday evening in my book, until the boys all ditched me to go see How to train a dragon.
I put Eva to bed and watched Time Travelers Wife. I think I should have picked something more upbeat. Instead of enjoying my quiet house, I was counting down the minutes until all the boys came back.

I love Eva’s toes in the one shot in the swing, curling up. Great photo’s of Cole. He is growing up too fast. I am sure a party at your house means lots of fun!
