House Ideas- HGTV Green House

I have been thinking about houses a lot lately. Well always. But more lately.

I love to gather ideas of things to do to my house, ideas for future houses, etc.

I love to watch HGTV. I have watched it forever. If I could pick only one station that I couldn’t live without, it would be HGTV.

Anyway, I was just looking at their pictures online of the new Green House. And decided to share.

I have a thing lately for all white houses.  I know it isn’t practical, I am sure they must get dirty and then not look so good.  But something about an all white house set against the green of surrounding trees…. love.

And of course porches.  I will never own a house that doesn’t have porches.  plural.  And if I do end up with a house without porches, I will add them.  They are my #1 criteria in a house.  I also love the metal roof.  Perfect.

I think this art is so cool.  I’m sure Eva would seek and destroy but for a few minutes it would look great.

Barn doors to hide the grill.  Genius.  This would only be better if there was a pool as well.

This is the inside of the tower part of the house.  There were lots of houses that had these in Fort Walton.  Andy always said, “what do they put up there?”  Now we know.

Kid room- love this.  I love all cool lofty things, built-in things.  SO fun.

And the bathroom- this would be Blake’s dream bathroom.  He loves orange.

The closet in the master- this always cracks me up.  Can we see a closet with real life stuff- like someone that has more than two shirts and a couple pillows?

Master bathroom- these colors, so great.

Not as crazy about the master bedroom- this bed looks tiny.  Plus it’s on wheels.  Weird.

This makes laundry fun.
