NYC
I lugged my big camera all the way to NYC and back and only came home with a handful of photos on my memory card.
It was just too cold!!!
But even though it is was cold, it was fun. New York is always fun. In that cool New York sorta way.
I was more than happy to not be dragging around tired grumpy kids in the cold tho- I saw plenty of upset crying children.
We were there for about 24 hours.
Short but sweet
Our first cab ride ended in a crash. He rear-ended another cab. He got out and picked up the pieces and put them in the front seat of the car, and went on.
Sirens- all the time
Andy wanted to skate- I told him he was nuts
Turns out one of Andy’s VS friends (who has since also moved on…) was in the city as well, so we met up for a bit
And then we went to pick up a request from Cole. Apparently he saw this thing the last time we were in NYC as he described it perfectly and asked us to get him one.
Pull the arm and get an M&M.
After that it was dinner and the show- which of course was amazing.

Today I have been hunkered down- enjoying my warm house.
Next trip is some place tropical!!

Looks like you had a fabulous time – so cool! I know you are a runner so let me just say running the NYC marathon should be a life goal for you – it made me love NYC even more than I already did … and Brooklyn? omg – you would love it (and this is just based on my running-through-the-streets view…)
