Birthday Part 2

Eva loves her daddy and she loves to watch for him to come home. Her birthday was no different, when she sees his car, big smiles.

And then the gifts, she patiently waited all day

Cole picked out this little barking dog for her. Really? We don’t have enough of that?

Her brother was a bit bored, we let Cole skip lax but Austin had an away middle school game and missed the whole celebration. Can I tell you how sick I am of lax? So ready for the season to be OVER.

I’m not sure how much she got it, but when I rocked her to bed that night she started singing Happy Birthday to me, right on tune. Of course I couldn’t understand the words…

But she drank most of it

And then it was time for the cupcakes. Eva isn’t big on sweets. Which is a nice change of pace!

But she did manage to try a bit of cupcake

And blew out the candle all by herself

And that wraps up the first kid birthday of the year. Next up- the three June boys. Middle boy first, Last boy second, first boy last. Got that?

We have a brief time of no rain this morning so Miss Sassy and I are headed down to the trail to go for a walk! Fresh air needed.
