A Mother’s Day Hike

For Mother’s Day I took advantage of a quiet house (Eva napping, Austin home- but he’s quiet) while the other two boys had lax games. I felt bad that I was sitting on the hammock at home while my boys were playing games but hey, it was Mother’s Day. And I embraced it.

When they all filed back home, Whole Food bags in hands filled with all kinds of grilling goodies I was one happy girl.

Eva is so into climbing up everything. I have never seen a little girl as strong as she is.

A bald eagle!! You are lucky, I don’t think I’ll ever see one here in Southern Arizona.

Beautiful pictures. I gotta say I am a little jealous of your Mothers Day. Mine was alright but by the time we did my MIL and my mom there really wasn’t any time left for me. The kids were grouchy and fighting. At least I got to hang with my mom.

Glad you saw the eagle. I was there twice and didn’t see it at all! Jealous.
