Indian Summer?

We are gearing up for some nice weather for the next couple of days. The kind of weather we are supposed to have. You know, the kind that makes fall in the midwest so special…

Yeah, we have been a bit ripped off weather-wise this year.

I am thinking pumpkin patch is in the near future….

Last weekend we took a trip down to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It was chilly down there that day, 62. I know, not that chilly for some- but chilly for them.

And I came home with only two pictures, and one Blake has his eyes closed. 🙁

I didn’t take any of beautiful Chapel Hill….

But here is Miss Sassy being crazy while we were waiting for our table at Elmos– a cool little diner in an old train station. They had the best hummus sandwich….

Yesterday the sun finally poked out around three and we played outside the rest of the day.

Fake Smile.

Every year after Halloween I throw our gourds out into the yard for the dogs to play with. And then the next year we get more gourds growing in various places in our yard.

Cole picked the first one yesterday. We have tons more.

When the sun came out yesterday our moods instantly improved.

Pretty sure the girly is coming down with something as she was a mess yesterday. With Andy working until 11pm last night and tonight it makes for some long days.

Being able to go outside for distraction is a huge help.

I’m in love with these sunflowers

Enjoy your Wednesday!
