Things on my mind

-I could never be a nurse. While I feel bad that Blake feels bad, I also feel really bad for myself because the family room is just gross from him living in it all week. Gatorade stains on the couch, puke bucket on the floor, blankets and pillows everywhere, non-stop tv…

-I’m mad at Eva for pulling the buttons off her Matilda Jane shirt and losing one of them at the dentist.

-buying a house is stressful, and so is selling one. And it especially sucks when you are doing both.

-I am totally ok that it hasn’t snowed yet. Yes, it is good I am moving south. And for those that think I will miss the snow, there is a mountain 3 hours away from our new city that has skiing and tubing. I can go and have fun and then go home and leave it all behind.

-Zoey just got shaved and she looks like a little sausage.

-the idea of spending a month in a residence inn with 4 kids and 3 dogs makes my eye twitch.

-I need to get my camera back out- no excuses now that I got a decent point and shoot for xmas

-I have not worked-out in 2 months or so.

-I am moving to a town that is so small it doesn’t even have a Target. I am freaking out a little about this.

-I should probably add that there is one about 10 minutes away in the next town.

-Next Tuesday we have a high of 25. Have I mentioned I am happy I am moving south?

-I just signed Blake up for lacrosse in Chapel Hill. It felt weird. Spring sports start in February. Also weird.

-I just got a text from Austin, who is in the basement, that he thinks he has a fever. NOOOOOOO! So sick of sickies.

-I really really want to document this part of our life- making this major transition. Even if it is through crappy iPhone pictures. I MUST DO THIS

-Austin was at a sleepover last night where they literally stayed up ALL night. I had to pick him up at 10am for a dentist appointment and he had not slept. They have come close before, like to bed at 5am, but then they usually sleep until 1pm. Anyway he has been “napping” all day and feels like total crap. I think he learned his lesson.

This broke my heart. Broke. My. Heart.

– we have decided to live in a townhouse for 3 months while we sell our house and close on our new house. I am ok with this. I think.

-we signed papers today to sell our house. Sigh.

-we have had workers at our house this week, fixing all little things. Makes me feel like we are making progress

-last night Andy told me that he read Eva “go dog go” before bed and she loved it. That made me happy- that was my fave book as a kid, I loved the page where the dogs were all asleep in one bed except one dog, whose eyes were open. And the tiny dog right in the middle of the bed…

-my eye is still twitching, taking extra vitamins but I think the combo of stress, not sleeping well, allergies from cleaning, caffeine…. All not good for eye twitches

-today I spent an extra 41 dollars to get Blake liquid antibiotics because the pills were ginormous and he just couldn’t get them down. Pretty sure I did the exact same thing last time he was sick because now I have two rx of antibiotic pills in the cabinet. Anyone sick?

-I am going to miss this house. It’s a pretty cool house.

-Austin is going to miss his girlfriend

-I moved when I was 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 21, 26, 30, 32….and now again

Eva took a pic if our realtor today

I live at least 15 minutes from Target, twenty from the better one. You get used to it.

Sorry you have the sickies at your house. I’m praying that this year we skip it. I need to see pictures of wienie looking dog.

I love boob scarf. It cracks me up that it’s old ladies and it is fitting. I would buy one but it’s starting to hit too close to home.

I have a house full of teenage boys and they always stay up all night. They never learn their lesson. It’s going to be a night of Modern Warfare 3. I’m glad the theater room is in the basement and my bedroom is on the second floor. They are really loud.

Hey Girl. Love hearing all the goings on, but not the eye twitchy sad stuff. Tell Blake to get well, and Austin not to get sick (bodysick or heartsick). We live in a town with multiple Targets and all are about 15 minutes from us. Actually, if they were farther away, my budget would be in a lot better shape! We miss you guys. It’s beautiful, beautiful weather in Austin, just wait till you get south. You’ll be wearing shorts on New Year’s Eve Day just like us!
