Rolling with it
So today is my birthday. I woke up to an email from our realtor that we had an offer on our house.
I felt like that was a pretty good bday present. But a better one came a few hours later when we got a second offer that was a full price offer. Our house has been on the market for less than a week.
Last night I went to bed praying for a sign that our 1st house was “meant to be”
The only reason we didn’t make an offer on that house a couple months ago was because we had a house to sell. And I woke up to a house with a couple offers in it.
Tonight while Austin and I were watching the dogs run around the dog park I was chatting with my bro in Houston. Do u need a clearer sign?? He asked. I guess I don’t
Honestly I am tired of fixers- Andy and I have been fixing up houses since we were in college. I would love to just live in a nice house for once.
But of course I go back and forth, and since I have no idea how this will turn out I am taking a big breath and keeping my mind open

I am so excited you are going after your dream house! For 3 years we have been fixing up the house we live in and I can only pray that if we ever decide to move that I won’t have to do this again.

Happy, happy birthday! Two offers on the house – that is fantastic. I thought it would go quickly because it is just beautiful. You and Andy really made that house special. Just like you will with your new house – you will make it special and make it home for the kids. No matter where you end up! 🙂
