Houses

Pinning houses on Pinterest because guess what? Yep, you guessed it- not moving into mine this week. Hopefully next week. Seriously the worst roller-coaster ride ever.

It’s a crazy time anyway. I have to get Blake out to the Outer Banks to meet some friends from Ohio at the beach on Saturday and Austin is flying to Miami on Monday to meet other Ohio friends. Spring Break is next week. I was so hoping that we would be spending it in our house but it’s not the way it’s shaping up so…..

I am in LOVE with this house/yard

Best garage ever

garden love

I can’t express how badly I long to get our life here settled. I am tired. Exhausted really from the stress of trying to get our house and our life on track. I feel like I have aged ten years in the last 3 months. One day we will have a home, and our furniture and clothes and toys. We will laugh about the days that we used moving boxes to hold our clothes and a closet as a bedroom.

Well maybe we will laugh. Or maybe not.

Girl, we need to swap phone numbers! We have had showing after showing. Hoping for an offer soon. Guess what? Almost every house on my list to buy, even my dream fixer upper, gone, under contract this morning. UGH! You were right when you said this house buying thing is not for sissies. Hopefully you can enjoy your Spring Break and then look forward to getting settled, not too much longer:) I always love the house shots you pick…we have such similar taste…..Just keep swimming, right?

As Mike says, “Making memories – good and not so good – but making memories.”

Holy hell. This is reminiscent of our situation: “We’ll have you in by Thanksgiving! No, wait, we’ll have you in by Christmas! No, wait, after New Years FOR SURE. Oh, looks like we need a couple more weeks. END of January for sure… Oh, well, not till February. Oh, you’re gonna be homeless? Well, I SUPPOSE we can get you in by end of February…” GAH. Meanwhile, not having even half your things and just feeling so temporary in the rental place. It’s so tiring. I understand. Hang in there! When you get into your house it will be such a huge relief. I promise.

I was just popping in to say congrats on the big day tomorrow and then I saw your post – what the what??? This is a story that all of us need to hear when this is over. You’re almost there – I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep swimming indeed! 🙂

Oh man – I keep checking back hoping to hear the good news that it’s DONE and you’re moving IN. Then feeling almost sick and so sad for you that you’re not there yet. I would be laying on the floor kicking screaming at this point. SO sorry!!

Grrr…I’m irritated for you. It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen. Just keep swimming and know that it’s all good.

I hate that you are just stuck. Stuck is the worst part of everything. I hate feeling stuck. Stuck sucks.

Anyway my friend, know that somewhere in the farmlands of Indiana there is a lame librarian who is praying for you.

I’m sorry that you won’t be able to move into the new house this week. Hang in there!

Can you share what’s going on? I don’t understand why it’s taking so long. Are they asking for more money? Would it be more easy to just find another house?

I hope it’s all resolved soon for you and your family!

Dream about Dave Grohl and his mouth and everything will seem better – at least while you’re dreaming…
    Hang in there!
