A weird week

This has been an odd week. Every day I have had a repair man here, either working or giving me a bid. Yesterday the a/c guy sat at my table and chatted for an hour- before I had to make him stop. Eva was running around yelling, trying to get attention, had to poop, you name it. Barley our Golden was on the porch and NOT happy because she has turned into a spoiled old girl that needs a/c. Even though ours is broken. It is still way cooler in the house. The dude was going on and on and on about how great their company was, giving me book after book of proof. He handed me a super thick notebook of testimonials- and wanted me to read through it. Seriously. Finally I told him to go outside and measure, and do what he came to do because I had had enough.

These cute babies were outside when I went to pick Cole up from camp

Hi cute babies

Cole is LOVING camp. It’s a day camp, 8:30-2:30 and every day when I go pick him up he asks to stay longer. They do tennis, swimming, arts and crafts. He knew no one going in- I love that about him. He makes friends wherever we go. On our last beach trip he immediately joined the family that lived down the road. He is my social butterfly for sure.

Got a few pics of Blake from camp… miss that guy

He is so much taller- he looks like their dad. Blake just had a huge growth spurt. Taller than me now 🙁

A couple days ago Eva and I went to the North Carolina Life and Science Museum with my friend MaryAnne. She is crazy like me and has a wide age range of kids (Her oldest and Austin are friends and in the same grade, play lax together, etc).
Her youngest is an adorable 2 1/2 year old.

The Museum is a cross between Cosi science museum in Columbus and the zoo. It’s pretty cool, and only 10 minutes from my house.

The other evening a storm blew in and it went from 93 to 73. It felt so good. Eva claimed she was cold.

Shiloh loves her yard. It’s her domain. I love that she sits in the middle, on guard. This almost makes up for her getting into the trash.

Shiloh loves to sit in the middle of the yard- making sure things are ok

Boys.

For some reason my house is half and half on the door handles. Half are dark and half are yucky gold. I decided to fix that by using oil rubbed bronze spray paint on the gold ones. A lot less expensive than replacing!!

It’s supposed to be super hot here tonight so it’s dinner at the pool with friends. No way I am cooking with no a/c!!!

That museum/zoo looks cool…but the misty pictures remind me of Jurassic park.

Repair men that are friendly bug me. I like them to ignore me and just fix stuff. I also don’t like being social at the gym, hair salon or pretty much anywhere I can be quiet and not have to listen to anyone. Friendly people creep me out.
