Gathering ideas

Today we got the link to the pictures of the Chapel Hill house. It looks so good. I miss my stuff. Anyone want to buy a house?

I miss my house. I’m not going to lie. Moving into this small house has tested me. The mouse that greeted me in the utensil drawer this morning didn’t help. I screamed and then quickly shut the drawer before the kids could see. And after I got the kids off to school I let myself shed a few tears. Because even though I wanted to come back to Ohio, a part of me wanted to stay. And I miss my house, and maybe just a little stressed out.

So after helping my friend pick out lights for her house that she is about to put on the market, Eva and I drove around gathering ideas for our small rancheroo.

Tell me what you think.

We came home and made cookies. That makes everything better.

Our house had mice too…they are gone now!!! Love all the houses, you and I have very similar taste in exteriors. I have to say you want a sun room. I saw a few of the pics with sun rooms….mine is my favorite room in the house. Enjoy your decision making and if you need a place to visit while your house is torn apart we have lots of fun stuff to do in the Chicago area:)

I vote for the 10th picture…the big front porch looks so inviting!

Yes, your BIG house was and is sooooo awesome. However, I’ve read your blog long enough to know that what you make out of this new house in Ohio will be simply fabulous and I cannot wait to see what you do!!!!!! Keep your head up! And, yes, Midwest people are the BEST!
