Basement update

We have walls!

And new windows

We had the front window cinderblocked and then framed and drywalled over since the front porch will be covering that area

I was afraid it would reduce the natural light but the windows are so big it really didn’t. Plus I have to have a front porch.

There will be a big drawer under the stairs.

The wall was put up for the bathroom

The tub is in

Extra storage behind- this will be the way to get to the new part that we add.

I love the big windows. Think any teenagers will try to sneak out??

Duh. That’s what teenagers do right?

It looks awesome. Building makes me happy and smiley. It’s like when I go to Trader Joes or Costco. Weird things make me happy. Make sure you post a ton of updates…so I can be happy. My happiness lies in your hands.

Keep Andy {aka:hot calves} away from my husband!

PS: I am not sure why but I just decided that “Hot Calves” is now your husband’s nickname…I’m not sure if his calves are hot or not but in my delusional medicated life…he does. Also, Sophia calls Greg …The Giant Hairy Monster. He isn’t really all that hairy and he’s only 5’10” so not really a giant either. Weird.

So jealous…I have dreamed of remodeling a home for forever!!! I know it’s a lot of work but how great that you are bringing an old home that someone has always loved an adored and made it work for your family and for this generation! So excited to follow your progress…can’t wait to see more! Yay!
