Counting down the sleeps

There are piles of clothes stacked up for each kid- making check lists in my head- older boys need more swim suits, need to buy new goggles for the pool, things like that.

I love this idea- we have a big container full of cool rocks that washed ashore after a storm in Topsail a couple years ago. Then another one full of shells from our last trip to Holden. I love to see a little bit of North Carolina in my home.

I am having small twinges of missing Port Aranasas, but I know cousin camp can handle new places. And I am happy our travel time will be much less. Traveling with Eva still isn’t the most fun.

I love the Outer Banks. It’s not quite as quaint as Bald Head but there is a ton more to do

I’m looking forward to getting out of gutted house for a bit as well.
