Gift ideas for Teens

Since our youngest kiddo is 11 (going on 18) we no longer have any little kids in the house. How did that happen?? But let’s face it, I have been buying gifts for teens for many years now and in some ways it’s easier (they tend to know exactly what they want, unless they don’t lol) and in some ways it is harder (the items tend to be a lot more pricey).

So I thought I would put together list of things we have purchased for our kiddos over the years in case anyone needs ideas.

JBL Speakers

We love these speakers and have a few around the house and at the beach house. They are portable, waterproof, and sound great.

Last year we got this clip on one for Eva and she loves it. She can clip it on her bike and all Summer she clipped it onto the golf cart at the beach.

A great stocking stuffer for all my kids are socks. My kids are all over the map with socks, Nike ones for Austin, stylish ones for Blake, Cole couldn’t care less, and Eva likes knee highs or fuzzy ones.

This year we are getting Eva this Privacy Pop Eclipse Bed Tent for her bed. I think she is gonna love it.

A couple years ago we got her this camera and honestly we have all used it at some point. It’s really fun.

Every year we seem to have to replace headphones at least for one kid. Oakley has chewed up two pairs, I accidentally threw mine in the creek when I was tossing a stick for the dogs, and on and on. My latest pair has been missing for a while and I am guessing I might find them under a pile of clothes in Cole’s room.

Thinking of getting these for Eva this year for online learning. Cole has pair that have held up well.

And a new pair of these for myself 🙂

Blake is obsessed with bonsai trees for some reason so this might be for him

And Eva is for sure getting this

We got this for Eva last year and had a lot of fun making them.

Another great gifts for teens is a charging hub. Contain the mess!

And along those lines, both of my older boys got Apple Watches. You can get the 3 for a good price (it’s the one I have).

I like to get my kids useful items instead of just buying to buy. One year all my kids got one of these

I really want one of these

I am going get this game for the house this year

This is a fun game that was at a house that we rented in Asheville one year. We now have one at our house and our beach house.

Do you have kids that fidget? I do. And they are getting these.

We bought these mini drones a couple years ago and we still all play with them. The dogs get a little freaked out though.

Another game we bought last year that is probably my fave is this one– it’s so fun with the whole family.

Do you have a kiddo that likes to take a lot of pictures? Especially with their phone? This printer is perfect to get those pictures off the phone and in their hands.

And then once they get them printed it’s so much fun to hang them up!

All three of my boys got an Eno hammock. They are the best and we take them with us to the mountains, beach, park, and even the backyard.

Sticking with the outdoor adventuring theme, a couple years ago we got Austin a gopro camera. I love seeing the pictures and videos he has taken with it.

Another fun game that we added last year was a new corn hole game. We bought it plain and then added a Buckeye decal on top.

Do you have a guitar player in your house? We bought Blake this tool so he could make his own guitar picks. Really cool.

Do you have a college kiddo or one that has loyalties to a school or sports team? How about a tervis tumbler.

And finally if you have a kiddo that likes smoothies this Magic bullet is so cool. Austin loves smoothies and brought it with him to the beach (even though we have a blender there) and it is just the perfect size and makes the perfect amount.

I hope this helped some of you that may be stumped on what to get your teen or older kiddo!
