Saturday we went to an all day Christmas party at Andy’s work. Only at VS will you see Santa surrounded by massive pics of women in their bras.

Which reminds me of one our friends, he took a bunch of these huge pictures home when the office moved. Needless to say his wife hauled them to the curb on recycling day. I can only imagine what the recycling guys did when they pulled up. I am sure they ended up going home with someone.

It was a nice party- they did a good job of having stuff there for all ages

This guy was all over the cookie room. You can tell how tired he was, look at those dark circles. There was a tween room with tons of food and drinks and video games, big bouncy things from Supergames, a candy room that was set up like a candy store where you went in and filled a big bag full. A starbucks room, lots of craft rooms. The humane society was there with dogs and cats (no, I didn’t bring home another dog…) but you could fill goody bags full of treats and toys for the shelter animals. I did that a couple times.

Oh and the best part? They had a spa room. Lots of moms in there getting massages while their husbands chased the kids. And yes I was one of them!

We rounded out Saturday with a Jackets game. We had dinner at Gordon’s before the game and met some Swedish guys that were somehow related to one of our players Kristian Huselius.

Thursday night he ended up dancing in the isles with a Swedish flag so I asked him on Saturday if he planned to do it again. He said “oh yeah!” and then offered me some Swedish Fish. A very cool couple of guys. And he did dance again with his Swedish flag and a big Blue Jackets blanket that Andy gave him. Cool guys.

A couple months ago Victoria’s Secret launched their website in Spanish and there have been a few issues. Translation stuff is tricky, in English it might say “this is a killer bra” but in Spanish it might mean, “this bra will kill you” and really, who would want their bra to do that?

That combined with general website issues, record sales (I KNOW! We are supposed to be in a recession!) and a lot of other mumbo jumbo stuff that goes in one ear and out the other…. Andy is working a ton. He crawled into bed around 2:30am. For like the third time since Thanksgiving. The boys and I are hanging tough- we know it’s temporary and well let’s face it. Happy he has a job.

So I will stop my complaining, actually I had moved on anyway- and let’s celebrate with some Christmas music. What are your favorites? My all-time favorite is this one. Check out Sting in his cute red scarf. And all of that great 80′s hair!
