What’s in my bag

My main squeeze…
My very first camera was a little plastic Holga that I used to take the beach when I was growing up in North Carolina.  Various other film cameras came next including my trusty Pentax K1000 that got me through college.  After that I switched to Canon and bought a Rebel (film version) right after I had my first baby.  I am a Canon girl all the way and when I switched to digital in the early 2000’s (reluctantly I might add) I bought the Canon Rebel digital SLR, then moved to the Canon 40D, then the Canon 5D Mark II and currently the Canon 5D Mark III. I love it.

My go-to lens…
My favorite everyday lens in the Canon 24-70 II.  It’s an L series that replaced the first version that I used all the time.  The replacement is a bit sharper than the first version.

My latest addition…
I just added the Canon 100mm Macro to my bag.  I can’t wait to play around with it more.

My just-gotta-have-it lens…
My big beast lens is my 70-200 L.  It’s big and heavy but takes amazing pictures. I use this for portraits and for sports photography.

What I shoot with when I need something simple…
I recently purchased a Samsung mirrorless camera- the NX3000. I have two lenses for it but keep the fixed pancake lens on it most of the time.
