Ok, the bags really are up this time. This is the last time I will post before I add the bags, oh the pressure!
It’s been a good week around these parts. The cold that kicked my butt for a good solid two weeks has found a new sucker and I am back with the living. I don’t know why it has taken me until August to remember how much fun we can have during summer. I am for sure mourning the loss of my screened porch. I will head that direction only to stop short when I get to the door and realize it’s not there. Summer just isn’t the same without it. The quiet is about to end however when we close tomorrow on our construction loan. Not sure if I am excited or not. Kinda in between. I have been taking the kids to the pool more, letting them eat dinner there, teaching my baby to swim. All good stuff. Our MO is for me to work most of the day and then head over there just before dinner and stay late. The sun isn’t as strong, the pool isn’t as crowded, and the kids come home and sleep like logs. Works for me!
i really like that idea of pool schedule–it really makes sense. so will you have a new screened in porch when this is all done?
