My laptop crashed. And of course it had all my recent pictures freshly downloaded onto it. I must have some kind of bad computer karma.
I have been trying to find cool pictures of craft/sewing spaces to get ideas for my new space.

But the reality is that my studio could never look like this. A lot of my fabric comes on very large rolled up bolts and even the smaller bolts are too big to stack up and look pretty in an antique cabinet. Sigh.
But as I plan the new space I can pick pieces that inspire me.
I guess we should start with walls, we don’t have any yet.
Sorry to hear about your computer. Mine has just started ‘blue screening’, so I’ve been backing up and preparing myself…
I remember the first time you posted those pics. That workroom is drop-dead gorgeous. However, I would love to see it when it hasn’t been ‘styled’ for a photo shoot. When there are fabric cuttings all over the floor, papers strewn all over the computer desk, and works-in-progress on the main table.
Good luck on designing your workspace. If you find a good resource online, please blog about it, as I am still trying to organize my craft room 13 months after moving in!
