So very cool. The only downside was that Rick Nash is sick with the flu or something and didn’t make it. Cole was a little sad about that.
Thats so cool! I wish teams around here would do that! Too bad half of the Bengals are in jail. Even though they are football.
I’m so glad that they had a fan day! They’re a good team–we got to go see them when they were out here a few weeks ago playing the Av’s. I felt so bad for the two guys who really got hurt. Looked painful.
Hmm yeah off the top of my head I can think of a couple football players too- OSU’s Maurice Clarett. Oh and the whole Michael Vick thing (which wasn’t here but really freaked my kids out). Austin likes Tom Brady but the whole dumping his pregnant girlfriend for Giselle didn’t sit well with me.
That’s why we are happy to have found such a good roll model in Rick Nash- there just don’t seem to be that many around.

How awesome! Your boys must have been so stoked! We don’t have a pro team in Oregon. We are season ticket holders to our local WHL team, but they are not doing so well this year. I’m a huge Anaheim Ducks fan and hope to one day see them in person.
