I felt I needed to put that in the title since my SIL Kathy gets mad if I don’t include pictures of Miss E.
I must admit that I am thrilled with how excited our families have been about this adoption. When we started down this road Andy and I had many conversations about how our families would react. You think you know, but you never can predict.
One thing I knew is that my SIL Kathy would be on board. And she was.
Eva grew today, or yesterday. I can tell, she isn’t so scraggly looking. She just got her 2nd bath, and didn’t cry as much this time. I love how her hair gets fuzzy and stands up when it is clean. LOVE all her hair.
I can’t wait to take this baby home to meet her brothers. CAN’T WAIT!
Today we went for a walk- see while I am sad that Andy went home, it also has a good side. When he was here I felt the need to soak in every moment of being with him. And that included dinner out. They have good food here. Really good food. So now that he is gone it is salads for dinner, and an attempt to lose the 10 lbs. I have put on over the last few months.
It cracked me up when I saw the Today Show Doctor Nancy Snyderman today on the View talking about when she had gained 10 pounds and told everyone it was because she just had a baby (even though her baby was adopted).
Hmmm…..
I really have nothing to say, boredom is settling in. Off to watch the Office, 30 Rock, and then to bed!

Enjoy every minute of your time alone with Lil Miss E. When you return to your ‘normal life’ you will have to spread yourself around and right now it is just time for yall.
7:14 am here in Texas… just checking for pictures.

(I understand if you can’t post them everyday, I’ll check tomorrow… and I won’t be putting her down at the beach!)
We will have to plan a rotating schedule for who gets to hold Eva during Cousin Camp. That baby will be spoiled rotten when she goes home from the family gathering. Yea!
Don’t forget about all the holding that will be going on in Fort Worth if we have a Kennemer gathering!
