I love this bag!!
If you are Caroline, send me an email with your address and your new bag will be on it’s way!
UGH, I hated not giving each and every one of you a bag. I wish I could.
Lots of stuff to do today-
UPS man is supposed to deliver Part One of a big fabric delivery
I finally got my new dryer hooked up so I can tackle the piles of laundry all over the floor. My laundry room is getting a much needed revamp.
The house is in the middle of a purge. I am so into ditching right now. AmVets is my best friend these days. I put it out, they pick it up.
I have a TON of pictures to go through from last nights family fun fest at the school. I am the head of the yearbook which means I end up submitting all of the pictures- good thing I like to take them. Ok, truth be told- I sat and listened to the band with friends while Andy took the pictures. He is actually a pretty good photographer. I just tell him what to set the camera on, and off he goes.
Speaking of cameras… I couldn’t find my memory card so I went looking for the digital rebel that I gave Blake. Sure enough, I found my card- and a new stop motion video that he cranked off in an hour. Seriously this kid…
I love when the snake sticks out his tongue.
And speaking of Blake- can I tell you how proud I am of his mad guitar skillz?
Here he is in my Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt playing his latest song he learned (of course by the Chili Peppers)
“Tell me Baby” which he calls “Tell me Eva”.
And while I am no Anthony Kiedis- I can’t help but sing along when he plays. It’s not pretty.
Here is the song we rock out to together- what cracks me up about this video is Flea is wearing the body-suit thingy he wore when I saw them in concert a couple years ago. My friend Sandra took one look at him and said, “wow….Flea….he can Mooooove!” and then couldn’t take her eyes off of him all night. Not sure I want Blake wearing body-suits….or throwing chairs. And I probably won’t be attempting a hand-stand on the drum set….
But- I can’t tell you how cool it is to share a love of music with your kiddos. I know the day will come when we no longer share the same taste in music, but for now we have so much fun.
Enjoy your weekend!

it is so fun when they like the same music and jam out to it. Jack +drums = love for Nirvana!
Very cool snake video. Blake has … and is … a winner (of course!).
That video is impressive! I think it’s awesome that y’all have the same taste in music- how fun :)And “Tell Me Eva”- that’s just cute 🙂
That is one talented little man you have there… WOW!!
Love the video – amazing.
And you know I’m in agreement on the feelings about sharing music 🙂
