Crumbs

That’s about all that is left from these yummy cupcakes that Andy brought home from the big city the other day.

Crumbs Bake Shop is just some serious Yum. Serious. Seriously.

I am sorry to those of you out there that emailed that you have sickies in your house as well. It’s not fun. And I hope that my post yesterday didn’t come off as self righteous. I am just trying to figure it out.

I like to read blogs all about natural living, healthy eating, etc- but that’s not what we are all about- we are not a granola family. I will write about sneaking veggies into their foods, I try to buy all organic, but you will also see the yummies that we also allow (see above), hear about the technology that we love, and the craziness of life with 4 kiddos. Just keepin’ it real.

And on a funny note- Austin just asked me about the swine flu vaccine. Why people didn’t want it. I told him that I thought they were afraid of the lack of testing done on it. He said, “what if it turns out like I am Legend? and everyone that gets it turns into zombies?” I haven’t seen I am Legend (he saw it with Andy) but that gave us a good laugh.

Now off to enjoy a big mug of coffee (with a big dose of organic chocolate milk thrown in for extra yumminess) and pick up around here because….. the Texas Grandparents are due to arrive this afternoon. Yay!!!!!

  1. I didn’t get a chance to comment on your last post. Deciding about whether or not to vaccinate it a difficult one. I have struggled with it also. I love the last photos of the kids you posted. The second one of Eva is very nice.

The cupcakes do look yummy. I made some pumpkin spice muffins (Pioneer Woman) yesterday and they were so so tasty. We try to be healthy here too. It is sometimes hard with all the running involved in our day to day lives. Most of the time we do alright! Enjoy your time with the Grandparents! How nice.
