Not me, but my little guy. He lost it at school. It always kills me when they lose the top teeth.
I walked into my (messy) study to find him making a movie about it.
Here it is, please ignore the mess, and you can hear Austin coughing in the background.

So the funny things about this video- he told me after that he doesn’t really have magic tricks with his tooth- he was just trying to make his movie more interesting. He also didn’t really lose his tooth, I had put it up on the counter so we really wouldn’t lose it.
But when he says “bad bad bad” at the end…. Cracks me up every time. Oh and the wide eyeballs!
I am glad it’s out, loose teeth absolutely freak me out. It doesn’t help that the boys always think it is so funny to wiggle them in my face.
On the way home from K yesterday Cole said, “the only thing that bugs me about losing teeth is when it comes out, and you have those things that dangle down- you know like on a cow, the things that you get milk out of? Except these are smaller and bloody sometimes…”
This part of the tooth process doesn’t bother me. I can do blood. I just can’t do loose dangling teeth for some reason.
I cried when Austin lost his first tooth. I even made a scrapbook page about it. This isn’t Cole’s first tooth to lose (he lost the bottom 2 first) but it changes the way he looks and the way he talks. My baby is growing up!

I so agree with you…my youngest just lost her first tooth and what is up with the running right up to you and moving it all around. Yew! Now I just must remember the tooth fairy will be coming by for a visit!
Eewwww it gives me the hibby jibbies when they move it around in their mouth…ick. And I’m really impressed that he can make a movie on the computer all by himself. Gosh, I’m clueless about that stuff. Smart kid ya got there!
I know what you mean about creepy dangling teeth. Yuk. My middle daughter went almost 2 years without her two front teeth. She had a mouth full of teeth problems. 4 extra teeth! 14 teeth pulled to prepare for braces! Those baby teeth just didn’t want to fall out. $6,000 later she has a beautiful 19 year old smile.
I am also impressed that Cole knows how to make a movie! Smart little kindergartner!! It is hard to see them grow up.
PS–I love his comment about the cow things in his mouth! How funny!!
I have no idea why I think it is kind of cool to watch them wiggle their loose teeth.
Oh, I can’t stand loose wiggly teeth…yuck!
I love his sweet little voice 🙂
He’s hilarious…
and we must get Connor & Cole together…
they are cut from the same cloth, I think 🙂
Ginky
Not only is this kid the cutest thing ever, now we have to add smart. Can’t believe he can go in and make a video all by himself and love his description of losing his tooth.
I didn’t hear the “bad, bad, bad” when I watched this on Facebook! I love this so much-he’s just soooooooo cute.
