I was so happy to have the boys come home from school yesterday. Christmas break has begun!
They were fired up and excited.
I felt adventurous and I actually got out the big red mixer and made sugar cookies from scratch. Those that know and love me will know this is not my thing- but it felt good to be domestic and they turned out great. I will post pics later to prove I actually did it! I even wore an apron. 🙂
I also copied one of Meg’s crafts and made the ball ornaments. They turned out so cute, I will post pics of those too.
But for now you get more pics of Eva
Eva loves dogs. Good thing, right?
I love this one of her looking up through Shiloh
She still doesn’t like dog kisses though
Off to get some coffee and figure out the rest of the Christmas gifts. Nothing like last minute shopping!

That last one cracks me up! My boys start their Christmas break Wednesday and I can’t wait! I don’t do sugar cookies very often either – but, maybe, just maybe, if I had a red mixer…
okay….laugh out loud cute!!!!
Today I’m making my first batch of sugar cookies too!!!
awesome!
i am so glad you made the ornament…aren’t they cute?! i loved them.
i would have made a bunch by myselF! 🙂
eva is too cute.
Eva and the dogs. How cute. Your boys are lucky, we have school Monday and Tuesday here! Meg’s craft week was great! I used to do that with my girls when they were young! Such fun. Glad you and the boys were able to do crafts. (We are pretty sure we will have Easter pups!!)
Those first 2 pics may be my favorite Eva pics ever- love the hair! You can see hints of what she will look like as a bigger kid!
HOW do you get anything done with her around?????? She is so so lovely.
Thanks for my daily dose of Eva:)
How cute is the one where she is grimmacing from the dog kiss…my son and I shared a great laugh! She is really so amazingly cute and like Mary said, you do really get an idea of her older self! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
