My house sounds like a TB Ward. And Eva just had a huge bottle, started coughing, and puked it up all over me and herself. And she had on the cutest dress! Oh well.
I am fully expecting a call from the school this morning sending Cole home because his cough is loud. But he felt good so off he went.
So remember I told you that Austin got a gift in the mail yesterday from his Gramma in Texas?
She made him a big Ohio State Quilt.
I should have taken a picture of him sleeping under it last night.
She put a tag on it that says
To Austin, an Ohio State Buckeyes fan from his Gramma, a University of Texas Longhorn fan. Loved that.
She says that Blake is next, she plans to make him a Columbus Blue Jackets Quilt. Of course if they keep playing the way they are, he may be too ashamed to have it on his bed.

The quilt is awesome. Grandmas are the best! Mine made me a quilt when I got married. Homemade gifts are the best kind, filled with love! Hope everyone starts feeling better.
Awesome quilt! (Don’t tell my University of Michigan daughter I said that!!) LOL
I am trying to teach myself to quilt. I only wish someday I will be able to make something that cool!
Sorry poor little Eva is under the weather. “This too shall pass”. That is what I try to live by. Take Care!!
Should the next quilt actually work out like I hope, maybe I should add that I am a Dallas Stars fan. In little letters, since neither team is doing well (by the time I finish it, maybe they will be battling for the Stanley Cup). What I REALLY want to know is where is the baseball fan in the family? Start working on Eva now, okay?
That is an awesome quilt. What a special gift.
awesome! do remember the quilt you made for Maura? It is still a fave 🙂
she needs to get these made and put on Etsy. She’d make a killing esp. if she made some for the Super Bowl teams.
I have to make one of these for my husband! He is a huge Buckeye fan too. Gramma really did a phenomenal job on this! I just wish I had more time to work on it where I could actually surprise my husband with it….the sad part is that my alone time is usually when he is working drill weekends, and I have to care for the 20 month old by myself! that would take FOREVER!
By the way, I just realized by reading your blog how I can work out while watching my daughter….put her in the stroller next to me! Genius…thanks!
What a great gift! I know that he was happy about that! Hope everyone is feeling better. I got a sick kid at home today:(
