This should be a weekly deal I am thinking.
Things I am loving this week.
I have been trying to do 6 miles a day on the trail by the river. Mostly I go with friends, but sometimes go alone if no one is available.
And this is my river song. Perfect.
Other things I am loving lately. My dorky sketchers shape-ups – which are almost worn out.
I have been wearing these for at least 6 months now and besides one lost toenail, they have been pretty good.
My next latest love is Smart Water. It’s like gatorade, only water style. Electrolyte water.
I have pretty much eliminated any soda from our house except Jones. I let the kids have Jones
Austin and I have really gotten into Izze, no sugar and nothing artificial
It’s raining again here, major storm last night so we hung out on the porch and watched it come in. But when the power went out and the tornado warning siren went off Cole yelled, “I don’t want to go to heaven yet!” Fortunately some friends came over and we rode the storm out telling spooky stories. It was all good.
Cole’s announcement that he wasn’t ready for heaven yet tickled me. My 5-year old said the same thing on a scary ride at Disney World a couple of weeks ago. Heaven can wait — for both of them! 🙂

Would you say that those shoes have toned your legs/thighs/butt? I bought the fit flops, last summer, and haven’t noticed any difference, though I love them anyway. 🙂
