Yesterday I came home and there were babies all over my front porch
One in a baby swing, two in strollers, one in rocking chair, one in a bassinet, one in a carrier. Every where.
My friend Penny went to a garage sale and found loads of babies and bought them for Eva.
There are two baby born suitcases and a big box of clothes and “baby supplies”
Eva was in heaven.
At first. Then she realized that taking care of so many babies was a lot of work and to be honest, she’s not the best mama. She’s a little rough and she drops them a lot.
I was calling her the octo mom by the end of the day.
I told her she was on her own- I have my own kids to raise.
Tough love and all.

That’s too funny! If she loses interest, I could see using the babies for your Halloween decorations – the porch already looks kind of creepy with all those dolls everywhere!
Poor Eva, so many babies! LOL Yes, she is the octo mom. I bet this kept her busy for quite awhile. I like that you have a friend named Penny. Don’t hear the name too often. I am named for my maternal grandmother.
So much for that idea for a Christmas gift for The Girl. Maybe they make a teenage doll that can be the baby sitter.
