Last night as Austin and I were walking the dogs to the dog park he said, “I’m going to miss the townhouse when we move into our house.” I asked why and he said because he liked the smallness of the neighborhood, the little community. When we got back I realized that I would miss our nightly walk with the dogs. I’m sure we won’t be doing it much when can just open the door and let them out. I really like this time I have right now with my family crammed into these tight quarters. I vowed then to stop counting down the days until we move into our house, and enjoy the moment now- and the different things it has to offer.
Or at least try…
Andy got me flowers for my birthday, they were pretty cool.
The girlie has turned a corner and is feeling much better.
And that makes us all happy.

I totally get what you are saying. I decided that this winter instead of wishing it away I was going to embrace it. I’m enjoying the quietness, I’ve cleared our calendar as much as I can and I’m happy 🙂
