It was hot, and windy, and the power went out.
So Eva wanted to lay a blanket down in the backyard and have a picnic

We invited a couple dogs

And a brother

The brother wanted to do homework and the sister wanted to wrestle

She kept doing things to get his attention. Like grabbing his paper and licking it. Gross.

She thought that was SO funny.
The dogs were being crazy

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Zo doesn’t like Eva as much as Eva likes Zo

Snapshot of a Thursday afternoon

Pretty place to hang out, do homework, and have a picnic. Only thing missing— two more boys.
Our dog feels the same way about my 8-year old as Zo feels about Eva. 🙂 I think it’s cause the dogs are smaller and the kids get right in their faces and man-handle them and lug them around. Like give me some personal space, dude! Too cute! Looks like a beautiful way to spend an afternoon!
Looks like a great afternoon, even with no power! What I wouldn’t give for warm and sunny right now. Hope you have a good weekend.
