Usually I am all over Christmas, the tree, the lights, the festivities.\u00a0 But this year we will be lucky to get our tree up by the 25th and my enthusiasm just isn&#8217;t there.\u00a0 Could be that I have had tooth pain for the last four weeks with my new crown and now it is looking like a root canal.\u00a0 Then there is the sick kiddo issue.\u00a0 After our round of strep we are now dealing with some weird virus that took Blake out of school and has given Cole a fever and cough he can&#8217;t shake.\u00a0 Today I took him to urgent care where they said he had a fever of 103.8 and his lungs sounded crackly.\u00a0 So after spending half the day there and getting two x-rays I learned that he has a virus.\u00a0 Sigh.\u00a0 Everyone is tired and grumpy.\u00a0 I found Cole asleep in a chair, Gameboy still on.<br \/>\n<a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/319072411\/sickie.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sickie\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/133\/319072411_c77817969f.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am lacking it right about now.
