{"id":1478,"date":"2009-06-19T14:49:00","date_gmt":"2009-06-19T19:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/?p=1478"},"modified":"2009-06-19T14:49:00","modified_gmt":"2009-06-19T19:49:00","slug":"huh-thats-interesting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2009\/06\/19\/huh-thats-interesting\/","title":{"rendered":"Huh, that&#8217;s interesting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ever find yourself quoted online?  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogher.com\/kindergarten-readiness-anxiety-and-hope-0\">I just did<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And I must say I cracked up when I read the author say<\/p>\n<p>That makes me so sad: &#8220;School meant getting down to business, play time was over.&#8221; That wasn&#8217;t my own experience in the 1980s, but then again I was fortunate to be in gifted classrooms where teachers were welcome to experiment with what might today be termed &#8220;alternative&#8221; methods of learning in classes with children who had at one point scored high on an IQ test.<\/p>\n<p><em>Whatever<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Want some pictures that do not relate to the above post?
