It used to be hard to find but now I see it everywhere. It is SO good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2067.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2067.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2067-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2&nbsp;small ripe avocados&nbsp;peeled and pitted<\/li><li>1&nbsp;tablespoon&nbsp;fresh lime juice<\/li><li>1\/4&nbsp;teaspoon&nbsp;garlic powder&nbsp;divided<\/li><li>Salt and freshly ground black pepper<\/li><li>1&nbsp;can&nbsp;16 ounces refried beans<\/li><li>1&nbsp;can&nbsp;10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained<\/li><li>3\/4&nbsp;teaspoon&nbsp;ancho chili powder<\/li><li>1\/2&nbsp;teaspoon&nbsp;ground cumin<\/li><li>4&nbsp;tostada shells<\/li><li>2&nbsp;cups&nbsp;shredded iceberg lettuce<\/li><li>2&nbsp;cups&nbsp;shredded rotisserie chicken<\/li><li>1&nbsp;cup&nbsp;shredded Mexican blend cheese<\/li><li>1&nbsp;cup&nbsp;pico de gallo&nbsp;store-bought or homemade (recipe below)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a small bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and half of the garlic powder with a fork until chunky.<\/li><li>Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.<\/li><li>In a small sauce pan, stir together the beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and remaining garlic powder.<\/li><li>Heat over medium heat until heated through.<\/li><li>Divide the avocado mixture among the tostada shells and spread into an even layer.
