And yes we are still snowed in!\u00a0 The kids and dogs are out romping in the snow.\u00a0 And it is still actually snowing!\u00a0 I think we are up to 8 or so inches, which isn’t a ton but enough to slow things down around here.<\/p>\n
This is the last “calamity” day for our school district.\u00a0 I can’t remember ever having this many snow days.\u00a0 Not when I was growing up in Michigan and certainly not here.\u00a0 If we have any more, they tack days on at the end of the year. Seeing that it is mid-Feb I think we are rounding the corner of winter and on our way to Spring.\u00a0 Hard to consider when there is this much snow on the ground but my little bulbs in the ground actually like this layer of insulation and are happily sleeping until they start to pop their heads out next month.<\/p>\n
The basement is done- well not completely done.\u00a0 This weekend my in-laws are coming in and the floor will hopefully go down.\u00a0 I CAN”T WAIT.\u00a0 The boys are going to love it down there and I am going to like closing that door to the noise.<\/p>\n
There is a little puppy face peaking through the back french doors- she is so small.\u00a0 She is shaking and ready for afternoon nap by the fire.\u00a0 I am running out of fire wood!\u00a0 Best go let her in and dry her off.<\/p>\n
