I spent most of the day reffing boys arguments and feeling thankful that school is starting soon. By the time Blake’s sleepover friend was picked up, the boys all wanted to go to the pool. Since Andy had a dinner with work people I thought, why not? It was hot dog night and I could feed them all.

Pool was a success, I get home with 30 minutes to round up Austin’s football stuff. It took me 30 minutes just to find the cleats.

I grabbed a bowl of cereal for dinner and was eating that when someone knocked on the door. I told the boys to let Matt in- he was riding with us. They yell, “it’s not Matt”. So I go to the door and this guy starts to push his way in. Didn’t you know I was coming? I am here to fix the closet door. It needs a new wheel. He was sent by our contractor. I told him that we had no closet doors on wheels, he said mind if I look? At this point I had pushed him back out. I have to go out and move the car so I can shut the gate, let the dogs, out… I am not happy. He goes up to check the closet. Comes down. No wheels. He stands there. I tell him I have to go, I have to take boys to football. He says, “ok, it’s the end of the day anyway, guess I will go finish my fritos.”

“Good Idea” I tell him and push him out the door. I get the boys to football, come home and get Blake round two of dinner, get them all bathed and we pile into my bed to watch Kung Fu Panda. Austin gets dropped off from football and says he forgot something on the field. Back we go (me in pj’s). He heads to a friends for a sleep over and I get back to the movie.

Andy gets home at 10:30. No newsletter.
